My lilacs are in full bloom

I have 6 bushes that are blooming, but I don't pick from the two smaller ones. Then I have 3 small bushes that aren't even up to my knee yet.
I've cut several boutiques and they make my whole house smell wonderful.

Caught 2 of my cats napping

Caught 2 of my cats napping where they really shouldn't be, but who am I to say?
Can't really say the one in the kettle looks comfortable, but cats are known to sleep in the most unusual positions.

Rainy day puzzle

Since it rained most of yesterday, I thought I'd spend the day with my neighbor and we put together a puzzle. Only took about 2 hours. It wasn't that big and only cost me a dollar at an estate sale.
Had a great time and also a nice visit.

My former boss is a KU fan.

My former boss wanted some KU patches put on his sweatshirts so I helped him out.
Didn't take long at all.

Taught another friend to make the duffle bag

She used double-faced quilted fabric and it went together so quickly.

Another Bargello Tablerunner

This one is almost identical to the one I made last year, but for another friend.
They are so easy to make. I was really surprised at that.
She went home and sent me this picture. I think she liked it.

Pincushion from Tuna can

This was also something I saw on the internet. It's a pincushion made from a large tuna can. You cover the can with fabric, cut a circle out of more fabric and run a gathering stitch around the edge and stuff with polyfill and pull the gathering thread. I hot glued the top onto the bottom and then glued the fringe on. This was for my orange loving friend and I ordered a small tin box of orange headed pins for her.

New Pressing Table

I saw this on the internet and thought it would be great to have one. It's one of those
wooden TV trays (I found these at garage sales) and drilled 2 holes
in the top for ventilations and put 4 layers of warm and natural and then the
silver fabric they use for ironing board covers.
I stapled it all on the underside. This works great. When I don't need it, it folds up.
I plan to make a covering for it out of cotton with a drawstring to keep
the silver fabric clean and the covering can be taken off and washed.
