Travel/Duffel Bags for a friend's daughter

I made these for a friend. She is giving them to her daughters for Christmas. They are so bright and colorful. A riot of colors. This is the same pattern that I made earlier this year at a class I took. I've also taught another friend to make these. I went to visit her for a week and we had 4 of them done before I left and she finished the last two after I left. She is giving one to each of her grandchildren for Christmas. I plan to make myself one someday.

A friend and I purchased a bunch of buttons from Craig's list. Only 53 POUNDS worth. This picture is not even half of them.

Tim's quilt

A year or so after I made my quilt, I made Tim one. I picked out the fabrics for his and put cotton on the front, with flannel in the middle and back. I used the same pattern since it was such a fun pattern. The green is the flannel on the back.

I think he's trying to tell me it;s play time.

My blanket

Several years ago when I first started making quilts, I made myself one to cover up with while watching TV. We don't keep our house that warm in the winter, so I put flannel in the middle and on the back with cotton fabrics on the front. I didn't pick the colors. I didn't feel comfortable at that point putting colors together. I had a lady at a local quilt shop pick out some fabrics.

travel/duffel bag

Earlier this year I took a class at a local quilt shop and made this bag. Since then I taught my friend to make these and she has made 6 for her grandchildren for Christmas. It measures about 23 inches long and about 12/13 inches wide. I don't remember how tall it is.
